The Vogel Family

Rothvogel

יחזקאל בן יצחק אהרן ז״ל · עטא רחל ע״ה

In memory of Yechezkel (Chazkel) Vogel z"l, born Rotfogel in 1923 and raised in Łódź, who survived the Holocaust and built a family in Baltimore, and of his wife Etta Rea Vogel ע״ה, née Fishbein.

Archive

A request, written on the 1990 tree

Etta requested that anyone named after her should not be given an English name.

The note sits beside Etta Levine of Neustadt, Lithuania, at the top of the Levin line on the family tree drawn around 1990. She was the great-grandmother of Etta Rea Vogel ע״ה.
